the dim puts a little spread out for his lackys, saugage rolls and such like then he thinks you owe him for the rest of the year thats our party personally i need a better bribe than that rant over

Some turn up 2 hours early to get away quickly.
Some won't drink because they are using their car.
Some will take the opportunity to prep next weeks D2D.

Official party. No. They used to give us a box of chocs at xmas, but that stopped years ago. Think the managers have a meal and a night out though. As for us lot, a few of us just set a date to go around town drinking lots and lots. Shopfloor talk is banned, but strangely it takes up at least the first hour with all the moaning! Whatever you organise, all i can say is enjoy yourselves.

Now, I wouldn't want to be seen dead partying with people who spend all the year long, not only shafting themselves, but shafting me too in the process.
Will have a pint, or two, with the few who feel as I do, and do their utmost to turn the tables on RM management, rather than bending over backwards to assist them, but that is as far as it goes.

A party with everyone sat round in their little cliques slagging everyone else off, I have to put up with them for about 4hrs a day 5 days a week, sod doing it in my free time.

Our DOM brought in two bottles of wine for the union rep. and his conniving sidekick last year 'Thanks for your help' quote unqoute..
3 years ago was the last time DOM reached into the pettycash tin for 'breakfast baps' for those who'd agreed to 'help-out' on the Xmas Sunday (I know, not that he needed too..) so the next year no breakfast and so the next year "Not a f***in' chance am I workin' Sunday".
This year we're 'offered' Xmas pressure - v. few commitals.. made for some tense relationships in shared vans
Whilst RoMe burns most of us seem determined to last out (this isn't a storm that we can ride out..) do what we're paid for and keep a clean nose and, please God , leave this soddin' mess of a business on our own terms.. .

Totally agree, unfortunately 200 ugly buggers at my office.
