I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Yeah thats right. One of our brothers was suspended,so the whole office backed him 100%.Not one delivery went out this morning(about 80+ walks). The office was swamped with screws from out of town to clear the priorities. The anger and bad feeling towards the governers is palpable

hopefully, if a 'weak' office will walk out in the current climate, it bodes well for the level of support for the 48-hour strikes. Perhaps the true enormity of what RM want to do to our jobs is at last getting through to every postman in the landdubdaz wrote:...this is usually such a weak office I did'nt get the impression the head screw expected the result he got though....

We were advised by the 'top' union bods to ballot over it as they cannot help us with any un-official action, obviously. Will take about 3 weeks we've been told till we can take afficial IA over it,which WILL happen. The screw thats caused this is still walking around the office with a smile on his face and not a care in the world attitude. This one day walk out happend on a day when there was so much work everyone would of had to have cut off and still would'nt have got all the sorting up!So now the office is rammo with yorks full of work that probably/hopefully wont get cleared before the 4 day strikes kick in (shame in'it).

don't let em get to you, heard there was a lot of elbowing going on with a bromly shuffle LMAO well a few at our office said they were going to go to Bromley to join in with the elbowing.
Totally messed up the MC - oh told me this is why Thatcher stopped walk outs cos they cause the maximum disruption. I hope the rep involved is OK, and you've inspired us at the MC, a collective cheer went up when we heard (also hoped not sackings etc)

I fully believe in what goes around comes around - remember his smarmy smile and wait till the day he is relegated Team Leader.......... BTW is he substantive if not - do as I do always ask for a substantive to deal with issues as you consider them unqualified.dubdaz wrote:We were advised by the 'top' union bods to ballot over it as they cannot help us with any un-official action, obviously.
