I believe some offices had their revision over 18 months ago, since then they have been working a 39 hour week. All that time i have been working 40 hours! Royal mail must owe me a good few days off.Is our mighty union looking at this, because im working an extra hour a week for sweet FA?

I'd be careful what you wish for. Our whole office would love to go back to 40 hours if it meant we didnt have this shite they call a delivery methods revision.

We work pretty much to our time, all the time celery, and that means we are working an extra hour a week. Not saying a revision will make things better cos i know lots have been disasterous.Plus it would be nice to get the £800 quid revision money we will be owed into my bank account rather than Royal mails.

We all get the 39 hour week at the end of January regardless of revision progress I think. But yes, since the agreement is nearly three years old by then, some of us will have worked a lot more hours than others.

Starting a bit later some mornings and finishing earlier one afternoon is meant to be our way of reducing to 39 hours but in practice it has made no difference.

Ours have been altered by 12 minutes a shift unless you are part time of course and if you are a part timer you still work the same hours you did before. It was a p*ss poor idea and really only benefitted those who could knock an hour off any single day..................like early finish Saturday...........one of those myths perpetrated by the union prior to the agreement only to find all days are the same after it

I didn't think that was allowed.

It is if they volunteered.
However is it really volunteering if its based on a democratic vote. Thats one big

for a Union to try and cross, and one that could be messy in an ET.
