P&L simply doesn't work, it seems to me RM is hellbent on duties being timed and we all know their times tend to be way off and are influenced by so many factors - corners being cut, speed of postman, volume of mail, houses being missed.

We also hear so much about the importance of D2Ds for RM's future, yet the weeks when there are 5 or 6 is a nightmare - cut offs and undelivered D2Ds due to the time spent prepping them.

Why doesn't RM do all they can to ensure that every office has 6 D2Ds a week - reduce the size of all deliveries, and accurately time them out based on hitting every house every day, and make it so that one D2D must be delivered to each house everyday. If the duties were sized correctly, and it was ensured every house was being hit everyday, surely the times would be far more accurate? Obviously there would still be other factors like mail volume and packets, but wouldn't this seriously reduce OT and cut offs?
