Thunk its quite ridiculous that they recruit thousands of casual staff for the mail centers yet think us on delivery can manage as normal, despite double/treble tha attendance calls.

I find it amazing that the our mail centre employees get xmas pressure money for a week longer than deliver staff. I guess the magic delivery fairy delivers all the extra mail they sort that week?!

Work to your time. Don't start early. Have your meal relief and do your best. If you can't complete and don't want overtime bring it back. Xmas eve should be interesting if the mail centres are working saturday and the sunday.

All November we were really busy most days.Last week most of the work was diverted and we have loads of casuals with NOTHING to do!
Many people ended up taking half lieu days because they were so bored.
People on delivery have my total sympathy,as i know how hard you are getting pushed these days.
The way this company is run is truly shocking,money wasted by the people at the top,and they still claim we are profit making......

Tracked has picked up over the last couple of weeks, Tuesday it was insane and with tomorrow being "Cyber-Monday" for the online stores I think Tracked might go insane again. Won't be long before we stop gunning Tracked as a good half of the batteries are f****d and everytime new batteries are ordered we are lucky if we see them.
