Has anyone lost a PDA and what was the outcome re conduct code etc. I lost one yesterday but fortunately found it again, what could the possible outcome have been if not found?

If it could be shown clearly to be down to negligence or carelessness section 19 of the conduct code would apply,
19 LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
All losses of property (including cash or valuables) or damage to official property must be reported to the manager. Where loss or damage is clearly attributable to negligence or carelessness, or is deliberate, disciplinary action may be taken.

i know of a bloke who got a 2 year serious. and appealed and lost.

Nearly lost mine today, left it on a handy post next to someone's door while I wrote out a P739, got back in the van and left it, got back to the office about 10 mins later and was like, ut-oh!! Luckily went back and it was still there.

lost mine around six months ago,gave a written explanation,got a verbal warning to be more careful,chap came in with it a week later when picking up a parcel i had slipped.I had left it on step when filling in slip.

Leave it on the floor in a busy shopping parade in full view outside cash converters and go back the next day to find it - it will still be there probably! worthless piece of sh*** :Very Happy
