All P/L rounds are not taking large packets and parcels and we are hoping to get them delivered by postmen on docket after their rounds.

We've also been told to prioritise mail over large packets. The office managers are struggling to get posties back out to deliver cut off mail, even with Royal Mail's lucrative overtime rate . After 2 years of park and loop the novelty of 4-6 hour deliveries must be wearing off, it certainly as with me.
The idea of going out early to deliver the large packets is great but they are not in the DO early Most of the large packets arrive on the last wave at 7:30ish so its going to be 8:30-9:00ish before anyone is out delivering the which is after most people have left for work. We told the DSM this and he said to roll the large packets over from the previous day so they are ready to start delivery at 7am
