how long after sickness have they got before giving stage

their are a couple of people at work who where sick in april time and or going to have a stage given to them next week. i read on here sometime that they had 3 months.
also i add an accident at work in late september i had four weeks off then back on indoor duties under atos. i haven't been sick since april 2011. it says its at the managers
choice, it there any thing i should say.

your staff who had sickness in april and are going to be considered for a a stage warning only now, have a case for their warning to be not issued and out of time.As detailed before by other good reps,there is a time line and guidance from hr services over reasonable time periods.Attached document below.You need a good rep in your unit to quote the document and have the warnings dismissed as your manager will not be following guidance.If he goes ahead with it your rep should hand in grievances on their behalf for incorrect procedure failings.Accidents at work where no fault by yourself is attributable should be discounted on the sickness procedure.Again if he tries a stage warning ,then you have a good case as it is in hr services guidance.Again i would suggest a grievance following incorrect procedure
