They stick a notice up asking who wants to work overtime during Christmas Pressure..........at least half the bloody office have stuck their names down.
We spend the whole year telling RM that we will fail at Christmas and every year we dig them out.
We are our own worst enemies.

Our office have been offered the normal 22 hours Sa rate. However christmas is a bit funny this year and the pressure is spread over 3 weeks. 
Personally i wont be doing it again like the past 3 years. The days of starting at 5am and still out on delivery whilst its getting dark are gone.

I remember years ago.....
Starting at 5am and working straight through to 8pm at Christmas was the norm.
Home,eat,bed and then get up and do it all again.
I haven't worked overtime at Christmas for 9 years,i know that because i haven't worked any overtime in 9 years.
Apart from anything else the money,even at SA rate is embarrassing.

I would have to be very hard-up before I would work any overtime for this piss-taking mob.
For one thing, as fishtank has pointed out, the rates now, even at SA, are an absolute insult and no incentive at all.
