Scheduled Attendance Rate at Christmas??

Does your office get paid SA rate for docket at Christmas or do normal OT rates apply?

At our place we don't get SA rate for any overtime at Xmas, it's all paid at normal overtime rate

Same here. 22 hours for the last 10 years at least. Was always money for nothing but now post park and loop i doubt very much that it'll be accepted again.

Every office should get scheduled rate if you work per arranged overtime after the 10th,but the bit that annoys me,u don't get paid for your break unless its a Sunday.

I ve not taken the deal for 2 years running and have felt a lot better xmas day for it. As you say with the older deliveries where you went over the ground twice a day just going the once at xmas was a bonus for sure.

Some of the xmas pressure days they will be paying 1.5 hrs for two days worth of work.

In our office it is all on inside work. The payment was split: Et 1h on sorting and extra 30minis on the prep. In 10 years i can recall only going into the "extra" sorting maybe twice!

We haven't had the meeting yet but il lay money if its offered this year it will include extra delivery time. So in our office that'll mean working till 3.30 or later. 90& cut off as it is so there's not a cat in hell's chance of the Xmas SA being taken. Sad really coz it was £200 odd quid extra for no extra work in years gone by

I asked the question "What about part timers" the answer inferred that they will get it after they have done their contracted hours, and not as is normal when they have worked 40 hours. which means as a full timer you are being shafted good and proper, having to work 39/40 hrs before you get SA rate, while a PT can get it after only 32 hrs, hardly seems right to me.

Indeed, part timers can go home after just 32 hours when we have to do 39 or 40, and them getting SA after 32 is just rubbing salt into the wound.

Scheduled Attendance - its, in its simplest form a payment for regular planned overtime. However not all units have it and there are various conditions and obligations around getting it.
