Hi
I've been at Royal Mail for five months on a part time, temporary contract (I'm actually into my second four month contract) and I was told yesterday that I can't take leave after December 3rd. Is this just a local ruling and subject to the management or is it company policy? I'm amazed that an AG is being denied 4.5 hrs holiday

It's a national thing, no leave allowed during the Christmas pressure period................................usually the whole of December.

Jan 3rd is leading into quiet period unlike Dec 3rd up to Christmas.
