This means:
•changing our network to become a parcels and letters business
•successfully managing the structural decline in letters
•becoming a genuinely open, customer-focused company; and
•taking every opportunity to become a commercially run, professional business.

We’ve made progress in the last six months, but there’s a long way to go.

Some offices are doing well, but others are not doing so well. We need to achieve the savings consistently across the country if we are to transform the business.

Here are some highlights of what we’ve achieved:
•Delivery revisions now completed in 49% of offices across UK
•Number of accidents leading to absence as proportion of worked hours reduced by 26%
•More than 3,500 PDAs given to postmen and women across the business
•Seven mail centres closed, while Medway Mail Centre officially opened in September.

Turn down the expectation meter i would think,lower the expected savings,adjust the IWT downwards,not worry too much about methods,i've heard starburst is making a comeback in areas that don't fancy the trollies,leave dedicated packet duties in,basically just water down the shite version the other 49% has to put up with.

Bet sick level is higher than it ever has been and also people leaving the business will be high as well. Just because they say 49% completed it doesnt tell us how many are working.

We are now on our 2nd revision but RM don't want to pay out for the resources to get it done as we've already been through one. Everyone knows including management that Revision 1 was a complete f**k up and still is.
