Am in the same boat been told 1 week for parents and 1 day for any other member even if they live 300 miles away

you would also I Imagine ( given the circumstances) be able to use annual leave or take unpaid leave ( if you have no annual leave left)

especially if there is a large distance involved

Can anyone confirm do you definitely get one day for aunt, uncle ,nephew or niece as i have been told you must take annual leave.
