so this year we could not book holidays for the two weeks before Xmas nor Xmas week. (you could always book between Xmas and new year but always went quickly due to seniority but not this year)
just filling in my holiday form for 2013-14 and there are 4 weeks pressure for Xmas + Xmas week still!!!
FIVE WEEKS OF PRESSURE no annual holidays from Nov25th until Dec31st.
so I expect my next holiday form to say no annual leave from the start of November!!

well we hav'nt got a rep since he quit just before last Christmas.
so they have probably be negotiated between our area manager and our area manager.
never known five weeks pressure before, however it will take away some of our lasping hopefully and there is buckley's chance of a revision happening at our office, almost four years now, two lots of planners ( both quit the job lol ) have had a look at it and nothing doing.
we are however a small office ( 30 walks with 4 lapsed daily )

I wouldn't be surprised to see a change in policy over Christmas pressure shortly.
It's no longer about cards and the 3-4 weeks leading up to Christmas day,it's more about packets and mid-late November right into December now.

Its actually 6 weeks in our place... 4 weeks where no leave is available, plus 2 weeks where only 50% of leave is available.

With what rm predict volumes will be after Xmas surely they would be crying out for people to take holidays week after Xmas or they are going to be well over staffed.
