How much notice should be given for removal of SA?

I've recently found out from my rep that my SA is being removed in a couple of weeks time. Gutted obviously as this is a loss of earnings, esp' with it being this side of Christmas.

My question is does my DOM have to give a certain amount of notice?

If so, should this be done in writing? (he's not even told me yet, i only know 'cos my rep did)

If the SA ends prior to the amount of notice time given, does the remainder become paid notice?

In hope of someone could advise on this please, thanks in advance.

DOM has to give you written notice of removal of S/A this is one month from the date on the letter.

If he doesn't bother with a notice letter to me, can he still remove the SA regardless?
