And it's why you never speak to one of them without a witness present.

So they do BUT there is such a thing as deniable plausibility - there's you on the one hand and a respected manager on the other who would never dream of lying and making the facts fit the case :cuppa

Might as well fit us all up then, obviously there is no hope, even without any evidence we're still guilty, whole that lot say and do what they like with no comeback.
