Sick pay stopped-

Hi.

Quick question.
Currently on sick leave,have been working for Royal Mail for over 13 years.
My sick pay has been stopped due to me having so much time off in previous years.
How does this work?
Is it done on a "rolling" time basis?
When can I expect to get paid again if i'm off ill again?

It's a rolling 4 year period so any sick absence you have had since October 30th 2008 until today will count towards your 6 months allocation.

It depends.
If you had 2 months off sick say...3 years ago...in 12 month's time those 2 months will no longer be part of the 4 year rolling allocation.
So you will have 2 months paid sick absence again.

If,however you haven't been off in the last 4 years and you have used your entire allocation in the last 12 months you will have to wait 4 years from your first day of sick absence until you qualify for full pay again.
