In our DO we have a constant problem with rotas going up on the Friday for the following week. Now issues arrise when the collection drivers are off and they just put anyone on the evening collections without asking and with no disregard to people having lives and plans and changing their start and finish times. Our union rep does not give a s**t and is backing down from the role due to stress so no help from him.
So my question is, are their any documents that can be presented to the DOM or his little side kick who does the rotas to effectively say hey go f**k yourself i'm not changing my hours, and for him to not be able to do anything about it? Possibly the 28 days notice thing?
Thanks.

The 28 day thing is in regard to a permanent change in your hours I believe, and little help in this case sadly.Stella102 wrote:In our DO we have a constant problem with rotas going up on the Friday for the following week.

LOL!! We are lucky if the next weeks rota is up before we go home on a Saturday, have lot count of the number of times me and my fellow reserves have rocked up on a Monday only to discover we're on a day offfishtank wrote:Updated Weekly Resourcing Guidelines 2011
