How do you go about getting a job in the RM dept that dreams up stupid names for Equipment and staff,ie Planners=Disaster to a Office .

DORKS .having worked in logistics for private companies these items are refered to by all as cages and used by all supply chains and called cages except RM.

Must be a dept of Ministry of silly walks!!

Cant wait for other exiting ideas like leaving packets with neighbours,clever person who thought that up!

we just got trained - I kid you not - on how to clean RSCs (you know them as cages) using a Hand Operated Grabbing Stick.

we call them yorkies or yorks, never herd dorks before tho lol

I heard they are called Yorks because they are named after the first office they were trialled at...York.

Also Dorks are for tidying up the office ,they are not to be used for loading your mail on for your rounds etc.
