I am being sent there for the Attendance and procedures course next week. I have had the course timetable and it starts on the Monday at 12pm. I am now going to ask a daft question, what time can you get there on the Monday? I assume that you have to check in etc first. I will be traveling there by car. Finally is it any good the course?

I think the courses start at 11.30 on a Monday. What does your timetable say? Have to say I learnt a lot more on this course than Skills 1

I agree with Stormproof - it is a good course and you do learn a lot from it. You also get to meet other Reps, pool ideas and see how they fare in their offices and areas. Enter the course with the right frame of mind and you will get a lot out of it. Alvescot has a great social atmosphere too - the tutors and staff are friendly and only to willing to make your stay a beneficial one. The CWU is fortunate to have such a learning centre at its disposal and Branches should make the most of it.

:Applause Fully agree with Ahebban and Stormproof Alvescote Lodge spot on, went there the other year for full week residential 'Healh and Safety Course' (in process of applying for next year,) brill place for learning in a relaxed atmosphere, be positive and embrace the chance to learn with help and guidance all the way. :thumbup
