part-timers wage increase

can anyone who's office has been thru a recent p&l revision tell me what the new hourly rate is for part-timer postmen.this is as page 59 of the bt2010 agreement where the p/t hour rate is to be increased to compensate for f/t staff going down to 39 hours.

My hourly rate for a part timer is 286.23 divided by 30 = £9.541 an hour

cyrus.mine is showing an increase of £7.15 from last week pay slip.we were led to believe it would be the equivalent of one hour of pay[£9.51]as you quote.we also got a payment under ''swww compensation payment of £11.39 for the previous 2 weeks we were not paid the increase.if were only getting £7.15 per week,i was wondering why we didnt get £14.30 for the two weeks owed.anyone shed any light on these sums.

... I'm sure the bank only works to two decimal places mind ...

Pay rise for me as well and no duty changes - full timers got shafted because they had spare time, not any more though . I have trouble keeping a straight face in the mornings now the`re running round like headless chicks .

Strangely ours is the opposite the PTimers who made time are the pissed off ones. FTimers here got used to working to time ages ago.

different up here.the fulltimers worked less hours than part-timers,while being paid 10 hours more!still we got 9 part-timers made up this time.so its good that some genuine young guys got a wage rise.strangest repick ive seen in 25 years in rm.some peeps regetting their choices.can see a few bods bailing out in the near future.

Full Timers have more work to do and 12 minutes less to do it in (they will get a bigger Xmas bonus than me though ).

brains,i had chance to go back to full-time.realized at my age health wins over wealth everytime.ive done 25 years,only 8 and a half to go.dont think many young guys on p &l will make it to retirement age with healthy bodys[or minds].

I had buy down recently to 30hrs. I think of it as semi-retired. I can manage on the wage and still be home for the school run. Did the 60hr weeks & double shifts when I was younger. FTs on 8 till 4 now - no thanks.

After P&L, FTs reduced by 60 minutes, PTs by 70 minutes.
