Two questions

1 We were told by our Dom yesterday when a senior manager came to our office that nowadays the only way a part timer will get full time hours if it is agreed by a DIrector at Royal Mail, is this true, the senior manager who was there never said anything to the contrary.
2 Today in our unit we got Election cards in our unit, instead of as in previous years when you count the items and get paid for how many you have done, this time with union agreement apparently he has worked out an average of 800 cards per house for the whole unit and you get 5.2p per card, he said this is done everywhere now which somehow I don't believe but I'm sure ill find the answer here.

800 items per walk I meant,saying that though, one of the nursing homes near me had a ton of them today probably 800 for the whole buoding

I'm surprised you're getting anything at all. Council staff have delivered them for a number of years here - except for the ones out of the way or they don't know or couldn't find which they pop in the post box and we deliver them gratis.

dont go over then just cut off they will have to pay someone to do them

typical royal mail trick. normal mail will be heavy,loads of junk etc then say you can't claim o't because of being paid for polling cards

Ok what's going on, are we really working for Royal Mail or have they sold us already.
