Hi all got this booklet through the post today, royal mail code of conduct. I have 1 already from when I started any reason I should get another through the post.
I'm thinking is it a prelude to a bollocking?

How about a workers code of conduct containing all the past agreements the business has since gone back on.

It felt a bit like a warning before a bollocking to me also, which makes me even more worried was that i got a smaller letter delivered along with it which im to scared to open, anyone else get another separate letter delivered today? if so what is it?

You make a valid point. It is getting beyond the joking stage when our union remains so unresponsive to the situations we face on a daily basis in DO's at the hands of management dictators.
Yes we do have rights and it is high time the Union were being seen to be more supportive of their members by providing better guidance in highlighting where WE stand.
We get bombarded by management refering to their interpretation of certain PARTS of various agreements, but only the areas THEY wish to exploit in an effort to put more pressure and onus onto an already stressed workforce. It is constant never ending daily intimidation, and I cannot understand why our Union do not grasp the challenge and show some LEADERSHIP towards and in support of their members. Morale is sinking to ever lower depths as each day/week passes by.

claim money from the companyfor hours you did not work.
claim money for a journey you did not make.
claim an expense you did legitimatley incur.
use inside information about a company transaction for personnel profit.

BUT NO MENTION OF MANAGERS STOPPING OVERTIME PAYMENTS TO STAFF
OR FALSIFING FIGURES OF WORKLOADS AND LYING TO HIGHER MANGEMENT THAT EVERTHING IS ALRIGHT AT OFFICES.

Page 31 in the blue box - A manager always offers overtime to one of his employees first. This is showing favouritism and does not live up to the high standards of behaviour that we expect. This happens every week in my office same guys on the early IPS since we have gone to P & L not once has it been advertised or other staff has been asked.
