Sample status quo clause for grievances

This can be used if your grievance is about a proposed change that you don't want to happen:

I expect the status quo to apply until this grievance has been resolved. Otherwise it would seem to me that you have not entered the grievance procedure with an open mind.

In Letters we use the phrase "Custom and Practice" which has the same meaning.
