MAGNUM SHOES OR BOOTS COMPLAINTS
Hi , just returned to work from a slip from 6 flights of wet concrete stairs and damaged my back and chipped bone in elbow. The outcome of the injury in THEIR investigation is I never took due care and attention in the wet weather. Even though their statement states that one of the stairs was disfigured , wet Rainey conditions, painted stairway, and the whole street was potenionally was a hazard due to having these stairways. I had the Magnum boots on which I find are not good in wet weather and was wondering if anyone has had similar incidents with slipping with these new shoes. Any questions and any feedback would be most helpful.

There was a problem a couple of years ago with them,they changed the soles.
How old are yours?
Most shoes/boots are not 100% in wet conditions,they are having you over,no suprise there.
Their investigations are mostly bollox,the f***ing scum bags.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I have a new pair every 4 or five months as the soles ware very fast, i used to think it was scooting on the bike that caused it but i use a LWT now and the ware is still as quick, the latest pair are about 3 weeks old and are as bad as ever in wet weather.POSTMAN wrote:There was a problem a couple of years ago with them,they changed the soles.
