Yes,and if they are found to be not recording them they usually get the high jump.
If you're sure they're not,tell Moya,and keep notes of cut offs...

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Someone else will 100% know but i do know they have to mention them in conference calls,and i would of thought there would be a paper trail as well.

They have to record the exact number of items failing delivery on the Daily Office Daily Report, either on the day it happened or the next working day, now its only mail that fails to be delivered so if postie A Cuts off and then manager gets postie B to deliver it later on OT that wont get reported, if postie A cuts off and mail not reported then exact number of items undelivered gets reported and of postie A cuts off and Manager C delivers it, then the number of part walks covered by manager must be reported but not number of items he deliveredPOSTMAN wrote:Someone else will 100% know but i do know they have to mention them in conference calls,and i would of thought there would be a paper trail as well.

what about missorts are they reported? ie number either brought back or not taken out?

I think offices had a "tolerance" percentage though,i'm not sure if that's still the case,WCM probably has a zero tolerance.
I've seen "interesting" things done with missorts on audit day.
Missorts brought back as far as i'm aware are not recorded at all.

If you bring back mail endorsed "Dog at large" the DODR is supposed to be retrospectively updated with the number of partial failures.
"No access" - is the same if the building hasn't already been highlighted as a problem.
Missorts should probably be treated the same way.
I doubt there is a manager in the business who does it by the book.
