is it worth going to my interview?

hi all i got a interview as a postman on a 35 hours a week but it only a 3 month contract at the moment i work for a parcel company dpd i been there 10 years this year but i would like to get of the night shift as it is to much for me i really would like to be a postman but i am very worried that i wont be kept on after 3 month please could you help me?

hi guys i have interview on monday for a postie between 10am-3pm but it says 3 month fixterm if i got the job would i be kept on after3 monthes? also could you tell me is the exeter office any good to work in? as the job startsat 10am does that mean i will take the left over that people cant take? cheers steve

hi guys i been to a interview today for a postman job in exeter but it says 3 months i asked would i be kept on after but the manger said he really dont no but he said people are leaving because of what going on rite now i really want to work for the post office but i am bit scared what to do but he said i can go around other postoffice if they need people please could you help me?

I would say it depends on your circumstances and how badly you want to get out of your current job. RM generally initially give short term contracts to new recruits in case they deem you unsuitable. It then makes it easier to get shot of you. Maybe worth going to the interview and explain your situation and see what they say.

I started on a 3 month contract! Been there 2 years now and still love it. 2 other guys started on the same day and the still working too!! Defo worth going for interview! x
