There's a new block of flats about 4 stories high appeared on my park n loop delivery. Does anyone know the correct procedure for adding new calls to a walk after the revision has gone through, I assume we (me and my park n loop buddy) will have to do this block however our duty takes us to our time as it is without adding more on. Where do we stand on this?

If you don't have time to deliver it tell your manager you will be cutting off

dont try and trial it as that only becomes acceptable insist on doing it if further down the delivery something else is taken off

We do that already, I wanted to know if there is a procedure for adding new delivery points. I was lead to believe that with the revision and move to park n loop walks are supposed to take us to our time. You add more onto walks it kinda defeats the object.

Your manager/office will be credited with the time to cover this new delivery.
if your manager is trying to get you to absorb new delivery you're being had.
If a brick i haven't seen before turns up on my delivery it gets classed as new delivery.

It's really something your rep should deal with at the weekly resource meeting.
When pegasus revisions first came out there was an agreement that the revision hours would be the baseline and anything above that was to be monitored at the resource meetings and implemented only by agreement.

Future Growth
Pegasus/Geo Route can determine the extra workload required for new delivery points. It is therefore accepted that a copy of the revision will be saved and will become the base data for future revision activity and growth. The total number of delivery points will to be recorded and will form the baseline for all future growth to be compared against to determine any extra workload required. Any future introduction date of extra delivery point workload will be to local agreement, and will remain under constant review at weekly resource meetings.

Call rate is down.
It can be absorbed.

These things would be up for discussion at a weekly resource meeting with input from the duty holder but it isn't a given that call rate is down significantly from a very recent revision and it certainly isn't a given that it could be absorbed...after all packets and therefore attendance calls are up and there's this new deliver to neighbour thing,we're also heading into Christmas with all that brings..
If it has to be absorbed,it has to but i would want some recognition both for the office and the duty holder that extra hours had been absorbed into the office budget.
Maybe a KitKat at WTLL.
