hi my office has just had a repick and i got given a float round should i still get a 318

If it's a revision there should be templates on how the duty/s works,whether it's a 318 or not is open to interpretation.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

get a 318, tells you what to do every minute of the day, i am trying to get this in my office!!!

Sometimes they are called walk logs, but to be honest a 318 that tells you what you should be doing is next to useless as it won't take account of volume, knowledge of the duty, and even if they do they are trumped by the line on each "as directed" anyway.

Walk logs while not as detailed usually list responsibilities for each duty, and they still have the "as directed" catch all as well.
