DOMs Stealing Overtime

My overtime is regularly docked without any prior notification, the first I know about it is when I open my wage slip. When I challenge him he can't justify his actions. This has happened to me at more than one office and I know its a common occurrence where I am now. No dom has ever told he is going to dock me. My union rep keeps telling me the dom can't do this and if he does its effectively theft. He tells me he does remind the dom of his responsibilities on this issue, but nothing changes. I've had enough of this so I guess I'm going to have to put in a grievance or simply cut off.

In terms of the overtime you haven't been paid - keep whining. And whine to everybody; managers, reps, lawyers ...

Just tell the DOM if the money is,nt in next weeks pay slip he will be receiving a claim from the Small Claims Court.

Really? What was their response and how did they put a stop to it? Did you suffer any repraisals as a result?

They wanted the details of who, where and when and shortly afterwards I had a meeting with the lead DSM who listened what I had to say and agreed that I had a case and I was paid what I was owed the following week. There were no reprisals because my DOM knew he was in the wrong and since this time I have had no trouble getting paid my overtime. Your DOM will continue fobbing you off unless you go above his head. I have found that once you have shown them that you are prepared to stand up to them and report your concerns to a higher authority that they tend to stop taking you for a mug.

There is the 30 mins 'voluntary' flex agreement where core hrs do not change in the week.
