Yes/No/Maybe...depends who you ask but there is no definitive answer in any agreement.
Royal Mail are certainly not going to turn away work,those days are gone so there is no cap as such but bear in mind that the IWT only allows time for a maximum of six so if some manager tells you that time has been allocated in the IWT...he/she is lying.

I believe you are right to a certain extent but I am sure that 6 was the limit until Jan 2011 and then there was supposed to be a statement on what the rule was moving forward - but who knows - I don't recall seeing a Joint Statement.

Besides IWT only recognizing 6 D2D items there is also the question of managing weight issues etc - especially with the autumn pressure gaining momentum.

I recall seeing some Royal Mail propaganda spouting on about a limit of 6 D2Ds - awaiting a time when it is financially viable to collate 7 or more D2D items in a plastic sheaf for delivery as one item.

I found the below in 'Downloads' section - page 3 ... you will see a zipped file that contains word files with references to 6 D2Ds, more than 6 D2Ds, D2D automation, Delivery Methods etc. It might answer your question, widen the debate even or, most probably, prove to be open to interpretation in line with the rest of BT 2010 Agreement as and when it suits RM.

Joking aside, arn't they classed the same as normal mail now?
If so, then work your hours and cut off/leave the ones you can't manage ect.
I know what it's like when the Dims threaten you, but stick to your guns.
There are folks in our office coming in 1-1.5 hrs earlier and working for free , iriots.

I had 8 one week earlier this year, it simply takes more time to prep and may well mean increased replenishment from drops bags, depending upon the official method of delivery in place for the duty. The result? More o/t claimed.

With us sometimes it's Tuesday when we learn there's one more Door To Door than we thought.
