CAT Trainers

Are these being phased out? I ordered some Cat trainers last week and appear to have ended up with some black Magnum trainers. Suffice to say they are horrible and I much prefer the Cat Trainers.

The opposite view from me. No more CAT trainers for me -they have almost destroyed my toes - the mall ones are so tender and always sore since using CATs. CATs takes a long time to soften and wear-in - and too narrow at the front...

I now prefer Magnums - softer material but the soles and the material don't last and no very waterproof - but hey ho!

personally i think the cat trainers have been the most comfortable shoes we've had, unfortunately they're also the slippiest!

same here i had to get a bigger pair to look after my toes but now im back on magnums

They are death traps....in wet weather they offer virtually no grip at all on stone or smooth surfaces...lost count how many times i have lost my footing and fell..they are a disgrace and RM need to get rid of them fast!
On Monday like most places it was chucking it down where i work...i had to deliver some mail in a shopping centre/flats...with my shoes wet...no word of a lie...i could not stand up once i had walked into the centre with these Cats on... ...i had to stand up against a shop window and rub them on the floor until they dried out a bit in order to gain any grip....much to the amusement of many onlookers! These trainers are quite simply....DANGEROUS!

The best EVER footwear were "Clarks" shoes. They were so comfy, grippy amd light. Also no doubt expensive so they dropped the sharpish

Me too, best issued shoes i ever had from RM
Currently wearing my second pair of indoor
Cat trainers and they are crippling me,first
pair i had were fine (on dry surfaces) but as
i had to wait over 2 months for these ones
due to "a supply problem" it leads me to think
we're being issued with a poorer product from
a different supplier

I always have Magnums as they are much more comfortable and have a decent grip. The soles don't last too long (six months max for me), but it's up to the management to get you a new pair once they're through.

CATs last longer, but unless you have Giesha feet, they're bloody tight. More importantly, they're like ice skates in wet or icy conditions. Indoor shoes only at best

I used to wear Magnums. When they were first issued they were deadly and caused my AOD-I slipped on a slightly mossy path which I had no problems with when walking on wearing trainers with literally no tread on the bottom of them...

Try ordering the Doc Martens shoes instead. The CAT's are dangerous, let the rain in and like many have said have also caused me no end of foot problems. They also only last about 5 months before the tread has gone.
