Can RM take an amount each week out of wages to buy Premium bonds like a save as you earn sort of thing?
ie £25 a week for 100 Premium Bonds every 4 weeks

No, but regularly transfer the money to me and I'll sort some out for you.

Eastie, you can set up a direct debit from your bank at a min of £50 a month then go up in £10's (60, 70 a month etc) It's what I've done for the past few years.

Do you ever win anything

We deliver a fair few of those white winning letters each month, some of my customers get half a dozen (lucky sods), but i think they are just small amounts.

Half a dozen! They must have the full 30K invested, probably 30K for the Mrs, and 30K each for the kids. Its a totally crap investment but at least you wont loose your cash (unless of coarse you don't count inflation as a loss...)

Yeah, get a few prizes each year mostly £25 every 3 months(use to be £50 when the interest rates were higher) even had a one £100 and a £50 in the same month ..I don't take it as a serious investment but, I win way more than all the fools that play the lottery in my work .My winnings have worked out better than putting them into an ISA/savings account(had one of those but closed it when interest rates were lowered to 0.5%). I started 5 years ago just paying £50 a month,because I was rather jealous of all the cheques I would deliver on my old route.I'm that used to the money being taken out of my account I don't even notice it.

Not a brilliant investment, but I've had sufficient £25 wins to make it a worthwhile thing to do. Savings rates at banks are terrible at the moment, and what little you get, you have to pay tax on !

Bank: £1000 at 2.9% (GROSS) attracts £23.20 in interest, but only after a full year invested
PB's: £1000 invested, you only need one (minimum prize) win of £25 and you've had a better return - plus you could win a £million !

There's guys in my unit who are in two lottery syndicates, spending a up to £20 a week and getting less than £25 of that back. And of course if they win the jackpot, it's gotta be shared with all the others in the syndicate

Got an inlaw who put £20,000 away 5 or 6 years ago,opted for any prizes to be paid straight back in and has now got nearly £25,000 in there.

I've got about £12,000 in premium bonds. Win small cash amounts quite regularly. Better than interests rates if you ask me.

I rem when i did my prev posh round that i would get a quarter of a tray of white winners, no joke ! One guy i rem used to get around 5 or 6 a month and was a moaner . It just happens that he came out to get his post and he had 9 winning letters ( i counted), he says " suppose you have the normal rubbish" and i replied " i think you have done rather well today" and gave him his mail with the white winners on top. He flicked past them and did not bat an eyelid NOTHING It just shows you how money goes to money

I got £30K premium bonds and average I win £200 plus per year..... still hoping for big one.

Say I invest the minimum £100 tomorrow, can I then sling as much money as I want into it as and when I choose? For example, £3.00 next week, £50.00 the week after, £1,000 in three months time? And can you really just cash in when you want?
