safe systems of work i think
are not being followed in office
1 breaks not being enforced by mgmt allowing favourites to leave office earlier than others who take break
2 trollies not being used on designated duties mgmnt allowing staff to use whatever means staff want to make their lives easier.
ie on my day off trolly never used on my duty by day cover on duty designated for trolly use
i have complained to mgmt and cwu rep
no one interested shrug shoulders attitude from mgmt saying it doesn,t matter which method of delivery used
cwu rep says report it to mgmt
reported it to h&s area rep today i await reply :cuppa
point i made insurance and therefore compensations would not be paid if said day cover used improper methods of delivery and any injuries or fatalities occured. and can mgmt be held responsible for meal breaks not being applied and ssow applied
where do i go from here who do i speak to
or do i just give in shrug my shoulders and say f**k it like everyone else

I'd like to think your Area H&S Rep will do something about it, that's what they're there for (stepping in if local H&S Reps can't/won't deal with a problem). Let us know how you get on please.

They cannot make anyone take thier meal relief. But as for the trolley if it has been decided that this is the equipment to use on your duty it should be but it seems a lot of places the managers turn a blind eye as long as it all goes out

and when one collapses on street from exhaustion and dies what then
duty of care ring a bell yes you can be made to take a break its paid for and built into duty and it is a mgmt duty to ensure
welfare of employees is taken care off whether they like it or not
