Break times.

Hi all, first post for me. I've worked for RM for almost a year now and I've just found out I should have been having a break every day! Basically, I'm contracted to work from 9am 'till 2pm with a 30 min break wherever I can fit it in. Simply put, I never have a break, I wasn't told I even had the right to one! Feel like a bit of an arse tbh Anyway, a college has planted the idea I may be able to claim some of it back in the form of extra time off, something like that. Any thoughts on the matter?

That's a tough one steve,i think we had a similar one before.
Basically you're going to have to prove that.
A) You didn't take a break.
B) You didn't surrender it willingly.

I know B sounds daft but people work for free all the time in this business through their own stupidity and don't deserve anything back.

ask for docket you have 30min ot to claim for the last 4 years its your mgmt duty to make sure staff follow h&s guidelines and take breaks, mgmt should have instructed or trained you re this matter
