Last weekend all our old P739s were removed from vehicles, stores etc and replaced with the new style cards for the "Leave with a Neighbour" scheme - however it transpires that the regulator hasn't ratified the system yet - or if he has, it's not been communicated to staff. Does anyone anywhere have any current update on this debacle?

We have been told going live on Mon. Been using the cards for ages. Told uner no circumstances to door step. Still not heard from OFCOM though.

We got told it was going live on Monday, never heard anything couple of posties started doing it then told Tues its in ofcoms hands you'd have thought they would have done all this before hand.

They were expecting the nod to begin Monday but it didn't happen. It seemed a bit odd that there wasn't a definite date just a "late September" - they probably thought it was a foregone conclusion and went ahead, just like they do with everything, sending out leaflets trumpeting the new customer service.
They really are a bunch of clowns, nothing is ever thought through but charge ahead regardless

Told in WTL,that DOM says dosent take any longer to implement according to trials ,so you can knock on one door,no answer,go to next door,leave it there,go back to original house and slip, all in the same time as slipping at original address ---you couldnt make it up.

You could make it up, RM did, and the union are going to monitor it .................except of course the regulator doesn't seem too convinced because he hasn't allowed them to go ahead yet.
