NATIONAL TEST YOUR OWN LETTERBOX DAY.

Post by manwithatrolley »

just been accused of damaging the brushes on a customers letterbox and had a nightmare of a day trying to get wet post through some tight draught excluders.

IF THERE ARE ANY SENIOR MANAGERS READING THIS I PROPOSE EVRYBODY IN THE UK SHOULD TRY GETTING A SINGLE LETTER THROUGH THEIR OWN BOX..

perhaps we cud set up a twiiter or facebook page for the resulting comments with 50 free christmas stamps for the best replies. :Very Happy :hmmmm

I have a customer who can lock the other side of her letter box with a plastic flap, well she used to be able to, a couple of weeks ago, had a couple of a4 brochures for her and could'nt get them through the letterbox, but after a bit of brute force I heard the flap pop off and shoot up the hallway.

since then have had no problem with their mail.

but I get where you are coming from, some of mine today get paper mache through their doors instead of mail :dance

LOL. Just today the flap was only lifting up halfway on a letterbox. I was trying to get some letters through when the lady comes to open the door. Just as she opens the door the flap snaps off haha. I pick it up and hand it to her. Her husband says 'what was that?'. She says 'the postmans just broken our letterbox'. I said that her flap was stuck. He said in that case I need to get a new one. LOL.

After changing the toilet seats :left:

The first thing i did when i moved into this house was remove the OTT brushes on the inside of the letterbox. They were not doing anything

Feck off.
I like making it as hard as possible for the posties here as they are all brain dead fuckwits who cut corners and would sell their own mothers to make half a minute up.
If they make it past the gun turrets and the burning oil then the dog is the last line of defense behind the letter box, work shy t.wats.
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!

Would also like a:

'test your own alarm clock and get out of bed before 12pm on a Tuesday you fat lazy slag day'.

Or a:

'test your car and drive to the shopping centre and get your item instantly, instead of staying in bed, ordering off eBay and making the postman lug packets to your door a week later, while you sit in bed tugging yourself off you fat f**k day'.
