I have looked at some of the posts on here and wondered where offices have reps, what they thought of them?
Are they doing the best for you the member or are they just looking after themselves and the mates?
Do they tell you straight if you are doing things you shouldnt be or do they just let you get on with it? and if they did tell you, would you be annoyed and accuse them of working for management even though what you was doing was wrong.
It would be interesting to know your views.

Our rep means well and does his best. Unfortunately alot of the time he's fighting against the members he's trying to help as they don't do themselbes any favours. Many come in early, etc then moan when management want to make their walks bigger cos they have been seen finishing early!

Have a feeling this could be said by most postal workers in deliveries.
What is it about deliveries that attracts so many doormats to the job?

We have a vote soon for the office cwu rep,what is the procedure - does the vote use a ballot box ? - does every one in the union get a vote including those on their day off or on annual leave ?
