Help negative figure on payslip

Hi Guys,

I started few months ago only working 8 hours on Saturday. The week before I was off sick and I noticed on my payslip for that week the amount was negative. I thought maybe I'm not entitled to Sick Pay. Now the following week I did my shift and the payslip which I got today was £0. Really confused about this. It's quite difficult getting through to the HR number, does anyone have any idea why this could have been and if there is an email address I could write my query to?

Is your net payment 0 or basic pay 0? It could be along the lines of making up for tax which you didnt pay previously, that you should have. ie 8hrs would pay no tax unless you have another job, and the systems catching up.

Its a year.

For the OP I think your manager may have forgotten to inform HR that your back working - I would call him and advise what has happened - he should then reactivate your pay.
