Dsm's in east region are now instructing doms in revision or who will undertake one to plan 5 day weeks for duty builder.
What are the union going to do about this?

They have also instructed doms to build their duty builder at 100bsi

Mr jenson is clearly testing our nerve and my office is ready to walk

How can an office at phase 4 even contemplate 5 day weeks.

To me the dsm has no care about 1 in 4 sats

Rm want savings

My members seem to think this is somehow my doing

Because we're working later on Saturdays we're supposed to have the opportunity to have more Saturdays off, which is what we should have after a revision.

Sorry we currently pre revision have a few 10 hour days some 9 days and some 5 days

Preferenced all 120+ 9 day fortnight jobs

But min we want is 1 in 4

This isn't going to happen listening to these lot

So I ask again

If rm are insisting on 5 day week jobs, 1 in 6 and 100 bsi before a park and loop revision is signed off when do we ballot and when's the strike?

soon meal relief will be gone, i cannot believe how miserible staff are at the moment, the managers that made so much time in the past, tend to forget this while duties and work loads have increased over time.

No we now have various attendance patterns all across the country. The 5 day week is the standard one but there are many others such as:

9 Day Fortnights. (2 versions IIRC)
Wallington Weeks (1 week in 6 off working 6 day weeks)
4 day weeks (9 hour 48 min days)

No 9 day fortnights, 4 day weeks, 1 in 4 Saturdays at my place. We were given the option of fixed day off, rotating day off or a wally week which is what we had before P & L came in. At the moment they are trying to bring in WCM at whatever cost even though P & L has never worked.

1 in 4 has been up and running at our place for the past year, with full timers working a five day week, 32.5 hour contracts working a four day week and 25 hour contracts working a three day week. Although the 25 hour contract people have recently been shafted and told they will be moving to a four day week.

But at what cost was that to your full time, part time split?

Be surprised if there are many offices with a 75%/25% split or higher and also with 1 in 4 etc...and those few that might are probably the bigger offices that had more than a 75%/25% split in the first place.
