D2D target market

The d2ds I get on my duty are a waste of time and embarrassing to deliver. The residential part on my duty consists of private/council/sheltered flats. So what do I get lumbered with Double glazing & conservatories :crazy: , vets(no pets allowed in any of the flats), learn spanish(most of them can barely speak english). Totally fecking pointless!

All walks in the postcode sector get the same D2D so the targeting is not that great. I deliver to MoD housing half the stuff is a waste of time because as you say it is windows, boilers, solar panels etc. We also get a lot of the MPs newsletters being delivered outside their constituencys because we have some villages within the same sector that are not very close at all geographically.

Are you sure you don't mean postcode district?

AA1 is district
AA1 0 is sector

in our area at least all walks in the same sector get the same D2D.

we have to deliver pizza menus to addresses from where if you phoned the shop to order a pizza they would say sorry we don't come that far! :crazy:

Who cares, I just deliver them (and I actually surprised about how many people read them, at least the RM Delivery to Neighbour ones), as long as I'm in my hours then I just do them without a care these days :chuckle

Seems though that blanket coverage is easier and probably cheaper than finding out exactly what type of addresses there are in the mail shot.
