Our DOM does this with any bad news as well. When our hours were changing he came in during his A/L, put the note on everyones frame then buggered off to let the reserve manager to take all the crap for ittolkien wrote: we only found out the hours we are expected to work next week by a printed leaflet left on our bench sat today.

last week there was a lot of rumours in our depot about changing our hours , the first we knew offically was when we had a letter posted to our home address mine arrived thurs , even though the DOM was in his office he was'nt brave enough to come down and face us
Although recently he was'nt in for over 3 weeks and nobody noticed
