What are the procedures that absolutely HAVE to be followed?

Says on my original letter "your suspension will be reviewed after 48 hours and at reasonable periods thereafter"

I'm still suspended but haven't had a review letter since July 13th.

Most of the time I have had to ring one of the area reps for an update as I'm getting very little communication from the company.

They should send letters saying your suspension is continued.

Like I say no letter regarding suspension sInce July 13.

Why worry? If your on precautionary suspension then you should still be getting paid for doing nowt!

Because if the worst case scenario does happen I may need to prove their procedures haven't been followed.

This will help your case as they are blatantly disregarding procedure,area rep should contact ER/IR manager for region and if that does not resolve matters,i have found contact with your regional director usually makes them become pro-active,unfortunately,you are not an isolated case,ineptitude seems to be widespread,good luck.

Why worry? jesus the guys been suspended for months, just out of interest what would make you worry?

yes i would be concerned, but if they are paying you to sit at home then its there problem not yours!

I doubt you would be laid back if your job was on the line

I thInk, I'm not sure yet, that I'm going to be charged with gross misconduct. I know at an ET they will look at whether procedure has been followed. I've had no review since July 18, apart from the notes of the 2 meetings. It's been passed over to a hIgher manager as in the letter I was sent it said the manager who was given the case "MAY require a penalty which is outside my authority level". Not "IS" but "MAY". I get the idea they don't know what to do. It's been 15 weeks now, I've lost over 500 quid in overtime. I feel I have been treat with utter disdain for daring to criticise a manager.
