£20 is the most I got.All though one of the drivers had Rural/Residential(which he had been on for 30yrs) He told me he got a few £100?£200 tips per person.He never would tell me how much he got in total.The place had loads of millionaires (some famous),but it wasn't them that tipped.It was the older couples who had lived there all their life that did.

1 calling someone a name of an expetitve nature and I would have issued a warning as they broke 2 rules, however as the target quoted the post I couldn't without warning them either.

£60 from a solicitors, then went down to £40 the next year, then I got moved off that walk :(

on the "new" walk last year I got a grand total of £110 with 4 people giving me £20 and 3 @ £10, so 7 tips out of the whole of my delivery points. tight gits.

Who cares ,as a floater for 8 years I get damn all , then a part timer comes in gets kept on same duty and hey presto he's loaded with tips. Would be nice if the regular shared just a little of this tips ,but that would mean fairness and decency which does not happen in our selfish company...

Quite a few years ago i got £35 as i had helped a customers lad a job at the mailcenter.

Not a cash tip but was just as good,Old bloke who i never even knew was a betting man,I helped him lift 4 bags of compost out of his car to his back garden,He asked if i wanted a cold drink,So agreed and had a juice.

Just generally chatting to him and noticed he had a few horse pics in his house,Turns out he had owned a few horses in his time and done ok from them.

I asked him for a tip,He told me now and then he gets a good punt in and would give me a nod.

Never really saw much of him the following weeks,Then one day he was waiting for me and gave a tip,Cant remember the name of the horse,But i put £5 on it and it won at 10/1,Super chuffed,Thanked him the next time i saw him and he said he may have another one for me soon depending on ground?

Anyway he came out to me on the saturday morning,The day England played scotland and gazza scored that volley and did the dentist chair,"Hey kidder,Its running today,Its at gowran park 4.30 called Sir Big John,Ive had the call" And gave me a wink.

I put £10 each way and it won at 20/1,I nearly pissed my pants,I used to always back his tips after that,Not all won and others were smaller priced,But made a good few quid from him,He moved to spain :( Taking his tip with him.
