Armageddon in the GU area

Any one else working in the GU area seen a manager lately ?.

I have lost count of the managers gone sick with stress due to a new sector manager who is treating the Doms and Linos with serious harassment.

I was in the unenviable situation on Tuesday of sitting with a lino who was in the process of a breakdown ,beyond the call of a CWU rep but empathy and compassion is a useful attribute to have and I would not turn anyone down, it was not nice and I am disgusted with what is going on .

Now with this one woman Royal Mail destruction machine we are going to be fooked at Christmas

Yes, to a point I would agree with you, the first to go off were the usual suspects but now there are some decent people falling apart and it makes me wonder.

If half of what i have is true then if I had been spoken to and treated that way by anyone else there would have been serious repercussions , I have advised joining and talking to their union and not suffer in silence so that these harassment cases are logged and documented.

I understand she was moved from the KT area with a cloud following .

I think the time is right to bury the hatchet and join forces.

Would guess the majority would not have any sympathy whatsoever. The way they treat staff these days is enough for me to say if they cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen.

A bully is a bully and their actions should be unacceptable to everybody, no matter where they work.
Or is it all right to ignore the bullying just as long as we are not the victim?

Agree with this wholeheartedly, in a 'bullying organisation' the bullying will filter right down and we will be (and often are) the ones who get it in the neck off our line managers.

She certainly left the KT area under a cloud and is not missed.
Believe several B&H complaints were made and as said above good managers as well as bad were dragged down

Management treat staff with contempt, so when what goes around, come around, they get not an ounce of sympathy from me.

I know of 1 manager in the GU area that is having time off due to stress caused by excessive pressure. bought on by the new person form the KT area
