O/T Question

I always start at the proper start time of 6.15am and cut off3 or 4 days a week at 13.45am .
The docket kings in our office start about 5.30am and run round to get finished early for docket but what I'm asking is that the DOM is letting them come out in their van to meet us about an hour before their finish time and take our cut off and start delivering it straight away.
Sometimes finishing docket before us finishing our round .
Should this be happening because this is half the reason why we have these people running round like lunatics cutting corners.
If they made them take it out after we got back and after their finishing time maybe they wouldnt start early in the morning.
Plus they are effectively being paid twice .

If they are delivering your cut-off within their contract hours, the DOM should be calling this lapsing and not paying out o/t! Until runners/ early starters/ corner cutters are made to work until the official finish time, which is what managers should be doing, these people are unlikely to see the error of their ways and change.

I wouldn't concern myself as long as you finish when you want let them get all the stress for a few extra quid,time is more important than money.

thing is how can it be classed as O/T if its being done in normal working hours.
I know what the DOM would say, "nodody would do the O/T if they had to wait until their proper finishing time."
