Please could someone give me some advice regarding training courses. I work for Royal Mail & have been told that if we wish to attend any workshops that we have to use our lunch break. Is this correct?

Are these 'Workshops' RM initiated?

If so ; then they are in work time.

Anyone that tells you to 'use' your lunch break is talking rubbish

What training courses are you referring to?

Thank you for your response. As far as I know course is being run by Staff from RM. I get back to you about department.

Are the courses run by union learning reps?

As a result of the employees survey one of the outcomes was the lack of development. So finance are holding a series of Excel & Outlook workshops. I am a LA1 and we use these programs daily
