Rural duties and Special Delivery items

Can anyone clear this up for me is it 1pm for all special deliveries including rural duties somebody mentioned it was 3pm for specials on rural duties...thanks in advance

told in our office its still 1pm even though we work till 2.45

All specials are 1pm no matter where they are, if need be you have to break off and do the.
Makes the duty longer and they probably won't be in!!
but if you don't it's a fail.

Yeah its built into your delivery time to drive round the countryside just to get your specials delivered by 1pm. Doesn't take any longer, honest. RM have allowed for it

2. Where in the UK do you deliver?

We deliver most items the next working day by 1pm on Mondays to Fridays (except public and bank holidays). We sometimes deliver on Saturdays if the item arrives at our local delivery office that day, but we can't guarantee delivery.

So yes, for the vast majority of rurals then it's 1pm, apart from the more remote regions of the UK (mostly the Highlands and Islands, quite obviously)
I'm not on a rural but have to cut off occasionally to get rid of Specials, I don't mind, all adds to the time of course

I live in a 5.30pm area but we usually get all specials out in the morning when they come off the plane.

I ALSO live in a next, next day area so they arrive here today, go out to the far away rurals tomorrow morning. If people want it desperately they come and pick it up.
