I cant believe how many posties are working for nothing in my office all I can say is they are a bunch of shithouses and its probably happens in your office as well.
The amount of times my so call work colleagues said before Park & Loop came in “When P&L comes in I’m working to my time”
“I’m taking my full break”
"I’m not coming in early anymore”
“I’m cutting off at my right time”
“I’m bringing the mail back”
“I ‘m not going over for nobody”

First week into P&L and they have broke every statement they said what shithouses they are, in a hour before their time, working their break, going over their time, what’s wrong with these people? can they not stand their ground and have it out with the managers just to say “Boss there is a lot on today I have X amount of door to doors and I’m not familiar with the walk so I will be cutting off ten minutes before my time what do you intend to do about it? Leave in their hands and if they ignore you or do nothing bring it back simple! you really need to add up the hours you do for nothing and change it in to money because your working for nothing.
You posties that come in early are crippling the job for those that work to their time, get grip Guys..

ask the people who work on nights, they will tell you who these mugs were, I saw some people coming in 45 mins early, and they couldnt get out the building any earlier, perhaps they are fearful, that they cannot get the work done, people should slow down.
Why would anyone help a manager get his bonus, you are not in receipt of this.

Most in our office come in early , work through meal break etc and what makes me laugh you got a bloke who wears a Cwu badge making out he's all for the union yet did he come and strike with us and lose 1k ? Does he run round , kiss arse etc oh yes - like many they are full of .... ! They moan and moan but are so two faced !

We have lads coming in to do OT on nights, working 00:00am to 06:00 in the mail centre and doing DO work in their break, such as meter pouch sorting, starting their prep etc. and the Lino lets them go home 30 mins early after they've run around their walks because they've done him a favour! I have complained many times but it falls on deaf ears!

Believe it or not our Union rep goes over a hour everyday and works through his break so if he does it what chance has anyone else got?

How one company can employ so many people, who are obviously one sandwich short of a picnic, is quite beyond me, it really is.

I'm indoors,what with being a crip and all, so no `beef` against either set but from what I observe,it's the full timers who are in early,as I start half an hour before the full time walking(dead) posties, I'm always feckin shocked how many full time turds are in throwing out their own walks when I get to the shithole,infact I actually did some overtime the other week(yes I was shocked as well first time in 8 years as I hate the shithole but needs must )and was walking to work,it was about 6 o'clock and a full timer stopped in his car and asked me if I wanted a lift into work?....He looked like i'd just murdered his kids when I said no thanks, I don't want to get there any earlier than necessary but thanks for asking! And then said arn't you supposed to be in at 7?
Yeah but i want to get a head start was the chumps reply.
Most of the part timers in our office don't come in early and get s**t on from a great height,just saying like suppose different offices etc etc.

Just look at the board level standard of recruitment - you can really expect the lower echelon employees to exceed their potential when you have such lack of talent at the top.

Young fella at mine comes in early to help full-time mate so that they can both rush out of the door. He probably does the same hours and work a bit more but he is so proud of himself for being one of the first to leave and finish - headdick?

He even boasted that management cannot stop us coming in early despite warning form said-management that lapsing might ensue.

The managers don't come in till 6 20am (Ten minutes before) in my office its only then they put the signing on sheets out so if there was a fire nobody would have a clue who is in or who is not in the building the Union should take this on board as its a health and safety risk, but when you do forget to sign the sheets and managers set the fire alarm off they bollock you for not signing in but its alright not sign in to help them paying out extended,any Union reps on board to throw this at Royal Mail and tell them that Members are not allowed in until the signing on sheets are up and running, its only a matter of time where something will happen to a early bird like a overhead light fall on them before their starting time then the fireworks will start.

Of course they can stop him,it's Royal Mail's premises not ours.
Where do these arseholes get these ideas from?
Management don't stop him because they don't want to.

But management will not stop people coming in early to work for nothing. Then only way of slowing some people down (or the away they use) is to make them wait until most/all of the missorts are dealt with - our previous manager used to do that with some/limited success.

This guy and his mate regularly leave mail behind because the people that come in on time submit their missorts when they have already left. Managers know about this and they moan about it but yet, they don't always enforce things.

Our new manager is probably not staying so does not seem to care that much. Some full-timers are so much in a hurry that they don't wait for the 25-hour guys; they were going out before the p/timers and the p/timers have to catch up with their cars. When they stopped that, the full-timers now shoot off to do specials and tracks and come back for p/timers - waste of fuel! And then one or two retire to the pub or bookies whilst the p/timers finishes off (I suppose finishes off by doing his hours- I hope?).
