interesting final day...

last day on shift and i was on a p/l walk i'd not done before. posted to my old house, old boss and two club mates. after i'd posted my last letter, my partner for the day said "bet that felt good".

no sign of management when i got back, so i finished with the best wishes of a few posties i'd bothered to tell i was leaving. boots are in the bin (they needed replacing anyway), and i'm keeping my i.d. badge as a souvenir.

have enjoyed the job, but part-time hours, part-time pay and temporary contracts can't compete with a full-time job in a fancy events company (managing their website and social media presence)…
